Mount Cilo climbing 7 days program

Mount Cilo, or Resko Dagı, is Türkiye's second-highest mountain 4137m, A tectonic mountain whose summit is covered in snow and ice that doesn't melt throughout all four seasons, Mount Cilo forms the easternmost extension of the Southeastern Taurus Mountains. It is located in the southeastern tip of Türkiye, within the borders of Hakkari Province.

Day 1: Airport transfer, on the way to Hosap Castle, then Yüksekova, dinner, accommodation at Dedeman hotel.

Day 2: breakfast at 7.00, departure at 8.00, satt lakes 3300 meters, 4 and 5 hours nature walk, accommodation at Yüksekova Dedeman hotel in the evening.

Day 3 : breakfast at 8 o'clock, leaving the hotel at 9.00, departure to Cilo Mountain. Up to 2.500 vehicles will be taken, the rest will be with horses. 3500 will be camped.

Day 4: the climb to the summit from the camping area will be made early in the morning at 3 in the morning, the climb will take between 5 and 7 hours on average, the descent will take between 4 and 5 hours, the vehicle will go down to 2500 and get into the car. Accommodation will be at the Hakkari hotel.

Day 5. Breakfast at 8:00, departure at 9:00, departure to Cilo glaciers, heaven and hell valley, 3 hours climbing, valley walking, 2 hours return, hotel accommodation in the evening

Day 6: Van cultural tour Akdamar island Van Castle excommunication Van at hotel 

Day: 7 transfer to Van airport

Necessary equipment: 

backpack for the equipments and clothes, day-bag for the hikes, hiking shoe,and high altitude  boots head lights, walking sticks, gloves, beret and hat, suntan cream,warm and waterproof clothes, pocket, sun glasses. If you bring your own sleeping bag, choose a good 4-season one (-15°C). Weather may be chilly at 3500m, and you can expect temperatures between 0 and -15°C on the summit.
