This is our most basic Mt Artos & Mt Ararat ski package. Ideal for independent travellers off the beaten path. This Mt Artos & Mt Ararat ski tour is ideal for you if you want to ensure the success of your Mt Ararat summit ascent. With a gradual increase of altitude, your body has more time to adapt to different air quality. We will meet you on the day before the climb in Van so that we can show you all the equipment and discuss all the tiny details of the Mt Artos & Mt Ararat ski tour.
Day 1: Flight to Istanbul
Flight via Istanbul to Van. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Ski tour Mt. Artos (3,537 m)
In the morning drive to Gevas on Lake Van and on to the last village at the foot of the mountain, 2,100 m (even lower depending on snow conditions). It takes us about 4 hours to get to the summit - the view over Lake Van is unique. Racy descent with a maximum steepness of up to 30°. Drive to Akdamar Island (a 15-minute sail from the shore). The island is famous for the 10th century Church of the Holy Cross.

Day 3: transfer from Van hotel to Doğubayazıt. On the way stop the Muradiye waterfall we will get the first glimpse of Mt Ararat. Dinner in Doğubayazıt. At dinner we will discuss al the possible questions regarding your Mt. Ararat climb. Accommodation is provided in double rooms.
Day 4: Dogubayazit – base camp
Drive to the village of Cevirme, after the luggage has been loaded onto the horses, climb, depending on the snow conditions, to the high camp at an altitude of approx. 3,450 m. Most of the time you walk to the camp without skis, but the skis can be used. Dress it up even when you're on the go. We set up camp and spend the night in tents.

Day 5: Summit day
At around 3 a.m. it’s time to get up and have breakfast. A 6-hour climb takes us to the summit. The glacier begins at an altitude of approx. 4900 m, from now on you have to use crampons. Done, we are standing on the highest peak in Turkey, Mount Noah. When the weather and visibility are good, the view extends as far as Iran and the Caucasus, Eastern Anatolia lies at our feet!

We enjoy our happiness at the summit and fortify ourselves with tea from the thermos flask. We can't stay there for long because there is a strong wind up here, even when the weather is very good. Descent and descent, hopefully in wonderful powder or snow, to the base camp at 2,900 m and on to Dogubeyazit overnight hotel at Dogubayazı.
Day 6: Dogubayazit, reserve day

Day 7: Flight home
Transfer to the igdır or Agri airport and return flight home via Istanbul or optional extension in Istanbul.

Included in the price: all transportation, all meals during the Ski , tea, water (other soft drinks alcohol not included), hotel accommodation for 4 nights in double rooms (Van and Dogubayazıt)*, climbing permit, guide for the Mt Artos and Mt Ararat ski, huorse to carry bags , cook, tent, mat, crampons, climbing certificate,visit Ishak pasa palace evening
Necessary equipment: backpack for the equipments and clothes, day-bag for the hikes, hiking shoe,and high altitude ski boots head lights, walking sticks, gloves, beret and hat, suntan cream,warm and waterproof clothes, pocket, sun glasses. If you bring your own sleeping bag, choose a good 4-season one (-15°C). Weather may be chilly at 3700m, and you can expect temperatures between --15°C and -22°C on the summit.
